Artist statement 

let’s talk

I am a person first and a dancer second. I believe that my individual human experience shapes and creates the person and dancer that I am. Every victory and loss mold together into this beautiful thing we call life. The pieces that speak to me the most are the ones where you can feel the choreographer’s soul. I am simply the conduit for their story and the translator for the audience. 

My work connects movement to the psyche, visually explaining the subconscious. Who we are at our very core inspires what I create. We all have similarities and differences that make us human. I visualize the human experience through a psychological lens, creating movement and stories. Dance is the facilitator in my process to understand the human mind. 

So let’s give people something to talk about.
